First day in camp. Beautiful flight in and lots of sunshine. It is only 5pm and the two of us have caught 70 walleyes. We had one large northern on the line but unable to get it in the boat. Now it is time for a great meal and some evening fishing.

Hi Judy,
I promised to send you our fish count for your board. We really thought we had set ourselves up for a fall after last year’s total of 752 but we managed to beat that total this year. While we did not catch another 32 incher (that may not ever happen again) we caught a lot of fish and some nice ones as well. Before I give you the numbers, I again want to express our belief that the service at the camp this year was the best that it has ever been. Obviously the kitchen staff of Bertha and Brenda were great as always but the Larry and Dave were fantastic. They were always trying to find ways to make our trip better. The service was simply superb.
Now back to the totals. Here you go. For 2010 we caught 797 fish, mostly all walleye (777). Here is the count my day:
Day 1Â Â Â 81
Day 2Â Â Â 107
Day 3Â Â Â 116
Day 4Â Â Â 128
Day 5Â Â Â 113
Day 6Â Â Â 153
Day 7Â Â Â Â Â 99 ( blown off the lake with thunderstorms for about 2 1/2 hours)
Total     797
We only identify Walleye over 20 inches and Northerns over 30. Here are those totals:
