Laverne was all ready to fly into Uchi this week when he became ill and ultimately had to return home. Luckily he is well and in no pain, other than the pain that he feels when not at Uchi fishing with his buddies. So I just wanted to let him know we all miss him but also to show off Dave Vaughn’s 29 inch walleye - caught yesterday afternoon.
If that wasn’t enough, Dave Stewart (part of Laverne’s group) caught a northern that they guestimate to be at least 45 inches long. This was the second northern of that size in one day ,as the Castro party had a 45 incher on their line as well.
