Steve won the Walleye contest with a 27 incher as the fishing picked up as the day went on. A great trip overall!

Steve’s 25 inch was outdone by just a half inch by his son Dean but the walleye action was fast and furious on Tuesday. We released 10 over 22 inches but no big females yet.

Our fair weather Ashcraft brothers perservered the elements last evening. Rain was coming down pretty heavy and the last boat in.
Henry released a Master Angler qualifier - walleye 28 inches along with Bill’s 36 inch northern.

Fishing was a little tough as the water temp is still cool but we managed to boat a lot of fish…..nothing like our previous 3 trips. The largest Walleye thus far is inches, way to go Steve! We have also caught a 22, 20 and numerous 15-18 inchers. The biggest Northern was 36 inches, however, our groups is die hard Walleye anglers so we are not “trying” for them. We usually boat at least one 30 inch Walleye so we are looking forward to the next few days of better weather.
