We are a party of 25 that have been coming to Uchi for 20 yrs. The guys come from as far as California and Floria. This has been a family tradition and has grown into more than that over the past several years. This year was in memory of one of my best friends, Tom Nash who had passed at a young age due to cancer. His memories will go on, as his last words to me was to make sure his brother and future son-in-law could make the trip. Well, they made it!!
The fishing was outstanding and the hospitality was equal! I personally have known Judy for years’ and her catch and release program has certainly paid off. I can only speak for my experience in the boat with my son in law (Kevin), and good friend Jeff. It was a fishing experience of my life! In five days of fishing we caught in excess of 18 walleys over 25″. This was a first for me: Jeff and I had 2-25″ walleys on (Two Fer!!) I had done this on several occassions in the past, but not two 25″s!!
All in all the fishing was outstanding!!
I could go on with the stories, but like all fisherman, you would have had to been here to believe the stories.
